Continuing Education Requirements

Each CEU is $15.00

The state of Georgia provides for two types of pesticide applicator licenses:

Private Applicators License
Commercial Applicators License

PRIVATE APPLICATORS LISCENSE

A valid private applicators license must be held by any person in order for them to purchase, use or supervise the use of restricted use pesticides while engaged in the production of an agricultural commodity, either on their own property or, on the property of their employer.

A private applicator's license is to be valid for five (5) years.

An applicator must be re-certified to renew a private applicator's license. There are two ways that an applicator may be re-certified.

Participate in the private applicators training program again
Obtain three (3) re-certification hours

All re-certification hours must be received in the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Pesticide Division office at least 90 days prior to the expiration date of a person's license.

COMMERCIAL APPLICATORS LICENSE

A valid commercial applicator's license, in the appropriate licensing category, must be held by any person in order to;

Purchase, use or supervise the use of restricted use pesticides on their own property or the property of their employer.
Provide applications, of any type of pesticides, whether general or restricted use, to the property of another person, and collect a fee for these services.

A Commercial Applicator's License is to be valid for five (5) years.

An applicator must be re-certified to renew a commercial applicator's license. To be re-certified an commercial applicator may;

Take and pass the commercial applicator's exam
Accumulate the required re-certification credit hours, for each of the specific categories in which they are licensed, during their five-year licensing period.

All re-certification hours must be received in the Georgia Department of Agricultural, Pesticide Division office at least 90 days prior to the expiration date of a license.

xi	For those applicators also certified in Demonstration and Research, and/or Aerial Methods, the hours of training required for the primary categories (i-x) above, may consist of any combination of hours divided between training in the primary categories and training in Demonstration and Research and/or Aerial Methods.

Registration Information

To register for the online courses, click here for the Credit Card Registration (instant passwords) Before you register Please turn off spam detection, or allow "office@pestnetwork.com" to send you email, your passwords are in this email we send you after you register. We accept Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Checks. Once payment has been received, we will email or fax your list of passwords to enter the courses. These passwords will be good until the states' current year deadline. All classes must be completed in the current year registered in. After that a new registration will be required and a new fee charged. The courses may be printed out to study or studied on screen. When you have completed the study material, go to the "Test Questions for Credit". The test will consist of 10 randomly generated questions. PRINT this test out first, answer the questions on paper and fax or mail this back to PestNetwork.com Once received, the test will be reviewed, a Certificate will be issued and the licensing agency notified of your CEUs. We will maintain your records for the appropriate time frame.
